EINL_ServerStackAt this moment we are working on our new, faster and more reliable server because our old server has a hard time keeping up with demand.

As of 10-1-2014 the new server will be in the air, and we will start moving all our customers 1 by 1.

We have reached this decision because our server is out of date and maintenance costs as well as upkeep are reaching disproportionate levels.
As we wish to maintain the low price high service mentality, we cannot afford to keep the old server in the air after December 15th.
Ergens in NL does it’s utmost to make the transition as smooth as possible, however, we cannot guarantee there will be no downtime during transition.

What will change for you?

Your website will be faster (hosted on SSD disks and 4 times more Memory) with a time gain up to 200% for a website.
It is possible that some passwords (i.e.: E-mail or FTP) will have to be changed in the process, but we’ll try to keep this to a minimum.
Our previous uptime guarantee of 98% will be 99%.
The current server srv1.ergensin.nl (IP: 46.17.2.24) becomes srv.ergensin.nl (IP: 149.210.146.211)

What will remain the same?

Our service, you will get the same service and aid from us as you have previously, if not more.
We will help you move your website, so your business will not be affected, or minimal.
Your account names will remain the same as much as we possibly can.
We will use the same server software, so no nasty surprises.

What will we do?

1. We will, as much as possible, try to reach you personally, and come to an agreement over the date and time we will initiate the transfer.
2. Your account will be copied to the new server, if possible with the same credentials.
3. All e-mail boxes will be recreated; unfortunately this will most likely be with a new password.
4. Your website and attached databases will be copied 1 on 1 to the new server.
5. Your domainname will be pointed towards the new server.
6. Done, your website will now run on the new server.
